Important Updates 21st March 2020

Effective immediately, this is what we are doing to keep you and our team safe from Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus).

Please do not arrive at Dee Street Medical Centre without calling beforehand to make an appointment or for your enquiry.
When you call you will speak to a staff member who will help you with the following:

  • You will need to sanitise your hands when you enter our building
  • Your appointment will be 10 minutes to limit the risk to our medical team and other patients
  • We ask you to minimise people coming into the practice with you
  • You can request regular prescriptions via our Portal, ManageMyHealth, (please ring reception if you wish to register for this)

Please note that telephone medical consultations will be charged and can be paid via online banking.

In April we’ll explain how we’ll be administering the annual flu vaccines to ensure optimal patient safety, so keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.

We encourage you to follow Ministry of Health guidelines – wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, don’t touch your face and no handshakes, hugs and hongis.  If you are unwell, please stay away from work or social gatherings until you have been well for 48 hours.

We understand that you may be feeling a great deal of unease and we want to reassure
we’re doing everything we can do so we all stay safe.
