Our Practice Nurses are fully qualified and can completely deal with most of your medical enquiries. They give advice, assess minor medical problems, check blood pressure, diabetes and give ear syringes. They also check blood tests, do all the children's immunisations and look after accident and injury care.

Marion Armstrong has been with Dee Street for the past 23 years. She loves the variety in her work as every day is slightly different, bringing new challenges with it. Marion is married to Andrew and they have three daughters. |

Shirley
Shirley Hunt has been living at the Mount for such a long time, she almost qualifies for a Mountie although she is originally from Te Aroha. She has been with Dee Street for nearly 23 years and loves working here. This is because she has known many of the patients for a very long time and finds her work varied and interesting. When not working, she loves going for a run. |

Sue Swan is married and has two sons. She has lived in the Bay of Plenty for the last 30 years but is originally from Hawke's Bay. Sue has been with Dee Street for nearly six years now and works here part-time. She very much enjoys the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that Dee Street offers as it fits her cheerful personality. |

Helen
Helen grew up in Tauranga, lived overseas and in Auckland for many years, returning to live at the Mount 8 years ago. She has now been at Dee St for 2 years and loves the friendly atmosphere created by staff and patients.

Debbie
Debbie is a registered nurse who trained in Tauranga. She nursed in the UK for several years before returning to work in Te Awamutu. She has since moved back to Mt Maunganui with her family and returned to nursing.
